MV Agusta

In 1978, Cagiva (CAstiglioni GIovanni VArese, ed) officially became a motorcycle company, but its origins date back to 1950, when the brand called the Castiglioni family laboratory, dedicated to metal carpentry.

In 1992 Cagiva also purchased the MV Agusta brand, relaunched in 1997 with the historic F4 that redesigns motorcycle perfection. In the last 15 years, the MV Agusta brand has grown exponentially becoming a reference point in high and medium displacement motorcycles. On 17 August 2011 the historic President Claudio Castiglioni, soul and heart of MV Agusta, disappears after having fought for a long time against a serious illness. Claudio Castiglioni was the protagonist of the relaunch of the Italian two-wheeler industry. Under his guide the most famous motorcycles in the world were born and the most important Italian victories arrived.
